Our school is a voluntary-aided Church of England school, proudly sponsored by Teddington Parish
A School with History
Founded in 1832, St Mary’s & St Peter’s is one of the oldest schools in the Borough of Richmond upon Thames.
- Originally located on the site of SS Peter & Paul Church, it was funded by voluntary contributions and a £100 donation from Queen Adelaide.
- In 1975, it moved to its current site on Somerset Road.
- In 2007, we celebrated our 175th anniversary!
School Governors
The Governors guide the school’s strategic direction and are actively involved in its life.
- They meet twice a term as a full body and in regular sub-committees.
- The Chair of Governors, Revd Mary Hawes, can be contacted via the school.
- St Mary with St Alban appoints Foundation Governors, including The Revd David Cloake.
