Join our Holy Dusters, a small and friendly team who help keep the church looking its best! We meet every Thursday from 10:00–11:00 am to dust, sweep, vacuum, and polish the brass and silver—followed by a well-earned coffee and chat for those who can stay.
🧹 Love a bit of sprucing up? Whether you’d like to help regularly or just drop in now and then, we’d be delighted to have you. No need to sign up—simply come along on the day and lend a hand!

St Mary with St Alban’s historic churchyard has not had a new burial for over 100 years, and many graves are clearly untended. To help preserve this sacred space, we launched the Adopt a Grave scheme, inviting members of the community to care for a grave or graves.
Since the scheme began, around 100 graves have already been adopted—a wonderful testament to the care and respect for our shared heritage.

The churchyard of St Mary with St Alban is a peaceful oasis in the heart of Teddington, offering a haven for both people and wildlife. With its rich history and beautiful trees, it serves as a much-loved alternative to walking along the pavement, providing a space for reflection, rest, and connection with nature.
While the Council maintains the grass and clears the leaves, our dedicated team of volunteers helps ensure the churchyard receives the extra care it needs to remain a welcoming and attractive space for all.
