Handel’s Messiah to be Performed in Aid of Cystic Fibrosis Trust on 7 April
First performed just after Easter in 1742, Messiah has continued to pull in the audiences and is probably the most performed and most beloved piece of music ever written. At least fifty enthusiastic singers have signed up for this exciting event and under the excellent musical direction of Derek Saunders, rehearsals are progressing well.
Teddington Churches’ Singers will be performing with four first-class professional soloists and the Teddington Consort. The concert, in aid of Cystic Fibrosis Trust, starts at 7pm and tickets are priced £12 or £8 (U16 free) and will be available on the door.
