Teddington Fair
The summer is not complete without the Derby, Wimbledon, Henley and the Teddington Fair, which this year took place on Sunday 29th June.
The promise of dry weather held good despite a bank of threatening clouds which loomed overhead early afternoon. With the sunshine came the crowds who could not have been disappointed by the variety of stalls and entertainment provided. There was something for everyone.
The choice of three bouncy castles was a huge hit with the young ones, alongside pony rides, face painting and Catch a Penguin where everyone was a winner. The story corner provided some welcome down time and an opportunity to indulge in some English tea, ice cream or even Pimms. Many were captivated by the fantastic dance troupe and the drama of the acrobatics show.
The afternoon passed seamlessly and belied the huge amount of organisation and hard work that had gone into making this year’s event yet another success.
