In Teddington Parish, we believe that community and care are at the heart of our faith. Through our outreach initiatives, we seek to create spaces of welcome, support, and companionship for all—whether you're looking for a listening ear, a sense of belonging, or simply a friendly cup of tea.
Our three cafés offer a warm and inclusive environment for different needs within our community:
☕ Memory Café – A supportive space for those living with memory loss and their carers.
☕ Community Café – A place to meet, chat, and build connections with others.
☕ Bereavement Café – Launching soon, a safe space for those navigating grief.
Each of these cafés provides a chance to share experiences, find support, and enjoy fellowship in a relaxed setting.
Explore our outreach initiatives below to see how you, or someone you know, might benefit—or how you can get involved and support these vital community efforts.
The award-winning Teddington Community Café is open every Monday from 1:30 – 4:30 pm, including Bank Holidays, at the Peter & Paul Centre on Church Road, Teddington.
☕ Drop in for a warm welcome, friendly conversation, and a relaxing afternoon. Enjoy quality hot and cold drinks, along with delicious homemade cakes in a space designed to bring people together.
While the café is open to everyone, it’s particularly valued by those who may feel isolated or anxious, offering a place of sanctuary, companionship, and connection. It’s also a great way to learn about local community activities and services.
Initiated by Teddington Parish, in partnership with local NHS Primary Care Networks and disability charities Ruilsand Richmond Aid, the café also hosts local social prescribers who offer support and guidance to their clients.

The Memory Café is a welcoming space for those living with memory problems, their carers, and anyone who enjoys good company. Held on the first and third Tuesdays of each month, from 1:30 – 3:00 pm at the Peter & Paul Centre, it’s a chance to relax, connect, and share moments together—no booking required!
